In August 2018, Grand County has initiated a fee for a Short-Term Rental permit and is based on occupancy. This fee is $25 per person, calculated by Maximum Advertised Occupancy for your home. On the Grand County government site, they state an example explaining that if your max occupancy is 10 people, then your permit will cost $250.
